Times are very uncertain right now, and if you are like most people, then you are living with at least a degree of anxiety. Unfortunately, your pets can often pick up on this message through your body language or general demeanor, and develop worries of their own. This is why it’s essential to focus on exercise and you need professional dog walkers in New Jersey to help you out. How can we help you make things a bit easier and keep your four-legged friend happy?

Routine Is Important

Most dogs thrive when they are presented with a routine. They love to have their meals at a certain time of day, and they also love to take their exercise on schedule. Furthermore, they’ll be happier if the same person accompanies them for their walk each day – and it’s not wise to break that type of routine during this crisis.

Outsource to Professional Dog Walkers in New Jersey

Of course, you may think that you can walk your dog yourself, as you’re allowed some limited exercise even though you are sheltering in place. Yet this type of lockdown will not last, and sooner or later you and other members of your family will head off back to work. At this time, you may be on the lookout for dog walkers in New Jersey to take over this chore, but it’s best to let them handle the activity throughout.

Loving Our Babies

At TAKA Dog Walk, we love our furry friends, so much so that we tend to call them our “babies.” Each one of us is bonded and insured for the job, and we have experience working with animals of all shapes and sizes.

Out With Friends

Often, we’ll walk your dog among a pack of others. Once again, familiarity and routine will help them enjoy their exercise thoroughly. They’ll be able to socialize with the other animals and will look forward to seeing their friends each day as they trot around the neighborhood. Here, they are getting their daily exercise, seeing new sites, making new buddies and burning up all that energy. Our goal is to take your dog on a long enough walk that they come back to you thoroughly content and looking for a place to curl up.

Maintaining Safety

Of course, you’ll be worried about their safety in these uncertain times and will want to ensure that they don’t bring anything nasty back to your home. You’ll want to maintain an element of social distancing and may worry about how to hand over your dog to one of our staff.

We take this very seriously at TAKA Dog Walk. Therefore, we will send you a text message before we set out so your dog is always ready to go when we arrive at your front door. All of our staff will wear approved gloves and masks, and we will use our own branded dog leashes instead of yours. We’ll be able to take control of the dog with no direct personal interaction so there is no contact between us either way.

Cleaning up

Upon our return, we’ll give you advance notice so you can have some pet-safe wet wipes available on your doorstep. Once we get there, we wipe down their face, underbelly and paws. This will get rid of anything they may have picked up, either during the walk or when sniffing around the verge.

Scheduling the Activity

So, get in touch with us at TAKA Dog Walk for more information or to book your pet’s daily exercise, whether you're residing in Weehawken, Hoboken or Jersey City. It’ll be one less thing for you to worry about. And remember, all TAKA dog walkers adore dogs of all sizes and have experience working with pets of all backgrounds, from rescue animals to puppies with behavioral issues and so on.

When you entrust your pets to our dog walking services, you can be sure that they will always be safe and totally content when they return from their exercise.
